Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I can’t recommend Jason and Susie highly enough. From quoting to completing the job was done effortlessly and went above and beyond to do everything that was needed for our job. Very professional and attention to detail was spot on. Thanks again for a job well done.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I recently had my backyard concreted by Jason and his team, and it was honestly the best experience I’ve ever had with a tradesperson. Jason was extremely courteous, professional, and helpful from start to finish. The quality of the work is outstanding — the finished result looks even better than we ever imagined. His attention to detail truly shows in the final product. What really stood out was how he went above and beyond. He cleaned my driveway and side walkway, even though they weren’t part of the project, and even blew dust and cobwebs out of my garage that were there before the job started. That level of care and pride in his work is rare. On top of all that, his quote was the most affordable out of the four we received, without compromising on quality in any way. I couldn’t recommend Jason highly enough to anyone looking to have concrete installed. Thank you so much, Jason — we are absolutely thrilled with the result!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I highly recommend Cube Concreting. Jason is extremely friendly, engaging, professional, and above all, very hardworking. While he may not be the cheapest option, I genuinely believe the price is worth it for the level of dedication and quality he delivers. He provided a clear quote and committed to a specific start and finish date — and he honoured that commitment. Jason and his team worked full days and consistently kept me updated with photos and videos, along with clear and open communication throughout the entire process. What really stood out was that he actually finished the job earlier than expected. On the final day, Jason worked solo and put in longer hours than required, purely to ensure the job was completed before several days of heavy rain that were forecast. That alone speaks volumes about his work ethic and commitment to doing things properly. The quality of the work is outstanding — even my neighbours commented on how good it looks. I’ve also noticed no cracking or issues since completion. If I ever needed concreting work done again, I would choose Jason and Cube Concreting without hesitation. I would strongly recommend him to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality workmanship.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I just had our driveway concreted by Cube Concreting and can't speak highly enough of my experience of dealing with Jason and his team and of the fantastic job they did. I rang them 12 days ago for a quote and the job was finished today - how good!!!! The driveway looks awesome and the cost of the job was very competitive and reasonable. Jason's communication, punctuality and great nature made dealing with them a pleasure - one of the best "tradie" experiences I've had. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing a concrete job done in and around the Macedon Ranges!!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We couldn’t recommend Jason and his team highly enough! From the very beginning, Jason was incredibly responsive and knowledgeable. He came out to quote on a Sunday and had the job poured by Wednesday - an impressively quick turnaround without compromising on quality. Jason’s attention to detail and pride in his work really stood out. The finish on our pool surrounds is perfect. Not only was the site left spotless, but Jason also went above and beyond by offering to reinstate part of our fence that had been left open for access. Both Jason and Susie were a pleasure to have around - kind, respectful, and easy to communicate with throughout the whole process. If you’re looking for a concreting company you can trust, look no further!

Outdoor living has become a key part of modern Australian homes, and concrete provides the ideal foundation for spaces designed for entertaining, relaxing and family gatherings. From alfresco dining areas to patios and covered outdoor living zones, concrete combines strength, versatility and style.

In Gisborne, Sunbury and Melton, many families are upgrading their outdoor spaces with functional concrete surfaces that seamlessly connect the indoors and outdoors. Concrete for outdoor living areas is not only durable but also highly adaptable. It may be finished with coloured pigments, exposed aggregate or decorative patterns to match the look and feel of your home.

Unlike timber decking, which may rot, or pavers, which shift over time, concrete provides a solid, long-lasting base. In suburbs like Woodend, Diggers Rest and Deanside, concrete alfresco areas are popular for entertaining. In Fraser Rise, Taylors Hill, Macedon and Hillside, decorative patios and modern outdoor spaces give properties both comfort and street appeal.

With more than 20 years of experience, Cube Concreting has helped homeowners across Greater Melbourne create inviting outdoor areas that are practical, low-maintenance and built to last.

Maintenance and Longevity

One of the main reasons homeowners choose concrete for outdoor living is its low maintenance. Unlike timber decks that require regular oiling or pavers that shift, concrete only needs occasional cleaning and resealing to remain in top condition.

Concrete patios and alfresco areas in Gisborne, Sunbury and Melton can last decades with minimal upkeep. Families in Woodend and Hillside appreciate that their outdoor surfaces remain functional and attractive year-round, regardless of weather conditions.

By resealing every few years, you can keep the surface protected against stains, fading and wear, ensuring your outdoor living space continues to look its best.
